Fashion show featuring high-end styles returns city

Lynk Fashion Show featuring a haute couture collection by French designer Alexis Mabille will take place at GEM Center in Ho Chi Minh City on November 11.

The fashion show will present latest designs of French haute couture designer Alexis Mabille that were performed at Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture F/W 2015/2016.

The 35-year-old’s style with a very French sensibility offers a highly contemporary, cosmopolitan allure.In lifting from both masculine and feminine styles, the brand revisits men’s and women’s wardrobes alike.

He has a large clientele, including world stars such as Madame Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Kate Moss, Gwen Stefani, Katy Perry, Keira Knightly, Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Lawrence and others.

Fashionista will have a chance to enjoy the Ao dai which was voted as one of the 13 best designs at the Vietnam International Fashion Week 2015.

The Vietnamese traditional dress was skillfully decorated with a phoenix made of gold by 30 artisans of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company during 240 hours. The dress measuring 115cm long and 44cm wide costs VND1,2 billion (US$52,000).

The event is expected to receive hundreds of local and international businesses and celebrities, likely TVB`s Production Resource Department Deputy Director Virginia Lok Yee Ling and actress Charmaine Sheh See Man from Hong Kong (China); Gladys Perint Palmer, Vice President of Artistic Development for Academy of Art University in the U.S; Music Director of the Sichuan Symphony Orchestra, Barnaby Palmer and among.

The event meets the demanding criteria of international fashion shows, said director Viet Tu.
