Most of them are pupils in secondary and high schools and vocational centres. The most common violation is underage driving. Other violations include not using a helmet, driving in the wrong lane, and overtaking without signal.

The list was compiled by the Road - Railway Traffic Police Division and submitted to the Department of Education and Training.

The department has asked local schools and families to keep a close eye on pupils` activities on the streets and use the list to evaluate behaviour for 2017-2018 school year. Pupils will be forced to submit self-criticism letters, while their parents will be made to pledge a commitment to deal with the problem which will be submitted to the department.

Pupils repeatedly violating traffic laws is an on-going problem in HCM City. Despite various measures to raise public awareness, the situation hasn`t improved.
